Trasparente, also know as Federico Montaresi, is an interdisciplinary researcher born on planet Earth in 1994. His work explores the raw essence of reality and the invisible energies that flow through both artisanal and non-artisanal professions, as well as natural forces. At the core of his research is the concept of bodily transparency—a vision of the human body as a clear vessel, stripped of the layers imposed by time, experience, and society. His practice embraces the fluid nature of time, seeking to create moments that are in constant flux yet fully present, rejecting rhetorical constructs. Working primarily with video, installation, instant photography, and new media, he holds a BA in Painting and an MA in Cinema and Video from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, along with a Master's in Digital Art from the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. His work has been exhibited internationally across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East. He currently lives and works between Italy and China, teaching Digital Video and New Media.
